I’m Mohammad, an industrial engineer by training and a language teacher by choice. This site is where those two halves meet.
What this is
Language Chief is my home base for teaching English, Arabic and Turkish, and for writing about how language learning actually works when you don’t have years to spare.
You’ll find:
- Lessons. One-to-one, online, built around your goal rather than a textbook.
- Writing. Practical tactics, teaching notes, and the occasional story from learning Turkish in Ankara or living in France.
- My background. The engineering career, the CV in three languages, the whole picture.
Why listen to me
I’m not a lifelong polyglot who picked up languages effortlessly. Arabic is my mother tongue, but English and Turkish I had to work for. Turkish especially: I took it from zero to C1 in five months because I had to study an engineering degree in it.
That constraint taught me what matters and what’s a waste of time. That’s what I teach.
